July & August: the summer centre of gravity

The Tourism Authority identifies July and August as the main summer holiday period and describes restaurant branches opening for the season. Use that as broad regional context, not an operating calendar for a specific venue. Seasonality source ↗

Book the elements you depend on early, then confirm them close to travel. Ask about check-in times, parking, visitor rules and any events that could affect the immediate surroundings of your accommodation.

Before and after the peak

For late spring or early autumn, ask each property what changes outside its busiest weeks. A quieter setting can be attractive, but you still need to know which places serve food, which shared facilities are available and how transport will work.

Do not read an advertised seasonal programme as a promise that it continues until your departure date.

A winter or extended stay

Choose the home around daily comfort and support. Ask about heating, ventilation, water, internet and access to essential supplies. Test the routine against a normal working week, not only a sunny afternoon.

For any month

Check a current weather forecast and local sea guidance before activities. No season label can promise calm water or a particular beach’s suitability on the day.
