Explore an original height map around the cape. Move a line across the map and read the same section below. Keep the land’s broad shape separate from a home’s actual level or view.

Green colours show model height, not vegetation. Light and dark show relief shading. Sea is one flat colour.Ask for the exact plot’s survey and finished ground levels. Regional model heights cannot replace these documents.
Ask which floor, direction and line of sight the quoted view refers to. This map has no buildings, home positions or sight-line calculation.
Ask for actual paths, slopes, lifts and ramps. The section does not tell you where you can walk or enter.
Use the developer-plan reader for the printed shoreline types. No developer plan is placed on this geographic height map.
Mapzen Terrain Tiles accessed 13 October 2026 from the AWS open-data registry. Thirty Web Mercator Terrarium tiles are decoded using R × 256 + G + B / 256 − 32768. The reader takes every fourth source pixel, about 131 metres apart at the map’s middle latitude. It uses nearest saved-grid samples, not a new survey or finer measured detail.
The contributing tile metadata lists SRTM, GMTED2010 and EU-DEM files. It does not identify a source or observation date for each pixel. The tile files’ 2017 modification dates are not observation dates. No single local vertical datum or exact-point accuracy was independently verified. The height chart uses model metres and different horizontal and vertical axis scales.
The accepted OpenStreetMap coast clips the displayed land; major-road lines retain their geographic coordinates. Water heights are not shown. Coastline changes, sea conditions, flooding, engineering suitability, home views, ownership and city boundaries are not established.

Look from the sea, inland or the east. Start with stretched heights to see the shape, then choose true height scale to see how low the land is compared with the width of this area.
Use the controls to turn the model. Scrolling over the drawing still scrolls this page.
Heights are stretched 10 times. This makes gentle changes easier to see; it is not the actual steepness of the land.
The colour shows the original model height. Stretching the drawing does not change the saved height values.
The gold coast line and cape marker sit on the drawing’s base plane. That plane is a drawing reference. It does not measure sea level or shoreline height.
The surface uses every third saved-grid interval, about 390 m apart near the map centre. Cells with any missing land sample are left out. Small coastal areas may be missing from the surface.
Use this to understand the broad landscape. For your home, ask for the plot survey, finished ground level, building height and view direction.
This model contains no homes, city boundary, access routes, present earthworks, flood assessment or water-depth data.
Derived from the earlier terrain reader’s unchanged 85,136 rows. Each retained vertex keeps the same decoded historical height and geographic position. A surface cell is included only when every original saved-grid sample within it is a land value. Surface faces connect their four corner heights; they do not add measured detail between points.
Longitude and latitude are converted into a local spherical equirectangular map centred at 27.8649° E, 31.1801° N, using a 6371.0088 km sphere. This is a regional illustration, not a cadastral or engineering projection. The camera uses an orthographic view, with no lens perspective. The gold OpenStreetMap coast is clipped to the same map area and placed at the drawing’s base.
Mapzen tile files were last modified in November 2017; this is not an observation date or proof of current ground levels. Metadata lists SRTM, GMTED2010 and EU-DEM contributions. Per-point observation dates, a verified local vertical datum and independent survey accuracy remain unknown. Negative coastal heights can be source errors; no flood conclusion follows.
