PLAN A VISIT WITH TODAY’S INFORMATION
Choose where to stay, see what the operator says is ready, and keep the new city’s hotel plans separate.
01 / CHOOSE + LOCATE
These are reviewed examples, not every hotel on the coast. A reservation page lets you check a stay; it does not promise all facilities, year-round opening or entry for day visitors.
Scroll normally. Terracotta dot: named Azur hotel reference. Green dots: nearby destination and community context. Open circle: geographic cape. No city hotel points or ownership boundaries.
02 / INSIDE THE DEVELOPING CITY
These words describe different steps. None of these reviewed records confirms a guest opening date. Portaluna’s city visit report does not establish that it is one of Wadi Yemm’s six planned hotels.
Ras El Hekma city visit report
A September government visit reported final opening preparations. It did not announce guest opening or booking.
73 suites · 7 restaurants in the September report
Ask: Ask for the opening notice and the hotel’s own reservation link.

Wadi Yemm
The operator still labels this hotel “Currently Under Development”.
200 planned guestrooms and suites
Ask: Ask for a Ras El Hekma opening date. The brand’s general Reserve button is not a city booking confirmation.

03 / NEARBY STAYS TO CHECK
A hotel using “Ras El Hekma” in its name does not prove it belongs to Modon’s city. Almaza Bay is wider coast context. Check the exact guest entrance and your complete journey.
Nearby coast · operator address: km 192
The operator describes 40 current rooms and suites, with expansion to 125 planned.

Ask: Confirm your dates, room, meal plan and which facilities are ready.

04 / MAKE THE WHOLE VISIT WORK
El Alamein (DBB) and Marsa Matruh (MUH) are existing airports. The new city airport is a separate project. Check a flight for your dates and arrange the actual gate transfer.
Read airport and arrival options ↗Read the dated coach comparison ↗Gourmet’s Almaza Bay summer store was marked closed in the 3 October review. A hotel reservation does not confirm nearby shops are open.
Check the seasonal service directory ↗Staying nearby does not give entry to a construction site, a private community or its beach. Ask your host or the city team for a confirmed meeting place and access arrangement.
Keep the city access questions with your home file ↗Reviewed operator pages and a government visit report. No enquiry, room reservation or payment was submitted. There is no verified guest gate or travel-time calculation. Current booking rates and inventory are deliberately not copied from default searches.
The map reuses the guide’s exact OpenStreetMap coastline and road geometry, not an illustrated shoreline. The Azur named feature was matched to the operator website and inspected in satellite context. Existing cape, Almaza Bay, Hacienda Ras El Hekma, Ogami and The Med records retain their earlier coordinates and dates. Unknown city hotel points stay absent. © OpenStreetMap contributors / ODbL; GeoNames cape / CC BY 4.0; credited point publishers.
